Ellen Ernst Kossek is University Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University's Graduate School of Labor & Industrial Relations with joint courtesy appointments in the Management Department.
She teaches, consults, and conducts research on international human resource management, work/life integration, organizational behavior, organizational change and design, gender and diversity, globalization and multiculturalism, and a wide range of strategic human resource management issues. She is currently the Associate Director of the Center for Work-Family Stress and Health that is a virtual center with Portland State University as part of the National Institute of Health Natoinal Worklace Health and Family Network. She holds a Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Yale University, an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, and an A.B. from Mount Holyoke with honors in psychology.
